Students seem more likely to use prepaid or non-tier 1 mobile than the average population, so one would assume that Rave would support these carriers. Non Tier 1 carriers or pre-paid cellular services such as MOBI are currently not supported.  However, students that do not have a tier 1 carrier will still receive an alert via email. We learned that last October 15 after the earthquake. Having a well documented plan in place AND ensuring that users are aware of the plan AND ensuring users know how to execute the plan in the event of a disaster is of high importance.  In IT we like to throw technology at problems in order to make them go away, but when the lights go dim, and the power goes out, RAVE still relies on a powered infrastructure in order to function...&lt;/p&gt;</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">ms</dc:creator><pubDate>Mon, 01 Oct 2007 20:32:37 -0000</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
